We're doing something a little different this summer, presenting two focused group exhibitions than our usual larger mixed show.
The first of these, Summer in Bloom, brings together new work by 11 acclaimed Scottish artists, each responding to the theme in their own distinctive way. Through floral paintings, still lifes, landscapes and more, the exhibition highlights the beauty, abundance and vibrancy of the season from a variety of perspectives.
Featuring Alison Cowan, Alison Dickson, Marion Drummond PAI, Jackie Henderson, Jennifer Mackenzie, Irene McCann, Lex McFadyen, Mhairi McGregor RSW PAI, Patricia Sadler, Naoko Shibuya and Kirsty Wither, Summer in Bloom offers a thoughtfully curated collection of paintings that celebrates both the individuality of each artist and the richness of summer as a source of inspiration.
