All of our latest news and special features
The second exhibition in our Summer Season, A View
of Scotland, brings together fifteen artists, each offering their own
unique perspective on Scotland's landscapes, coastlines and places that inspire
them. Showcasing a diverse range of styles and interpretations, the exhibition
celebrates the beauty and diversity of the Scottish landscape through
contemporary painting. We are also delighted to welcome two artists exhibiting
with us for the first time – Francis Boag and Dale Bissland.

Celebrating the spirit of Summer and evoking the nostalgia
of sending and receiving postcards, 'Postcards of Summer' is a small-format
show running alongside our main Summer Exhibition. Some of our favourite
artists have been invited to capture the colours, memories and fleeting moments
of the season on intimate 5 x 7" postcard-sized canvases. Each
unframed (although frames can be provided - please ask) and highly collectable,
these miniature works offer an accessible entry point to original pieces by many
of our most sought-after artists.

From September to December, we’re delighted to present one
of our strongest programmes of solo exhibitions to date, featuring the work of
four highly regarded Scottish contemporary artists: Beth Robertson Fiddes,
Georgina McMaster, Jonathan Shearer, and, for the first time at Strathearn
Gallery, a special feature with Jack Morrocco.
Each artist brings a distinctive perspective and a unique
approach to their practice. Together, these exhibitions celebrate the exceptional
quality and diversity of contemporary Scottish art, showcasing artists whose
work is admired and collected both in Scotland and beyond.
