Paul Kennedy and Tommy Fitchet
A two-person exhibition featuring the striking paintings of Paul Kennedy and Tommy Fitchet. Paul’s bold, brightly coloured seaside-inspired works, including his iconic lobster paintings, are both complemented and contrasted by Tommy Fitchet’s predominantly abstract interpretations of the Scottish landscape.

The gallery is delighted to present a compelling two-person exhibition bringing together the work of renowned landscape painters Ellis O’Connor and Harry Brioche. Both artists are celebrated for their distinctive and deeply expressive responses to the natural world, each having built a strong and loyal following for their work. Together, their paintings offer two powerful interpretations of landscape, atmosphere and place.
British artist Harry Brioche, who we are delighted to welcome to the gallery for the first time, is widely recognised across the UK for his atmospheric landscapes. Working in oils and mixed media, he captures the spirit of a place through dramatic skies, shifting weather and luminous light. His paintings are built through richly layered brushwork, creating surfaces full of texture and energy. Rather than focusing on literal representation, Harry’s compositions evoke the poetry and emotion of the landscape, inviting viewers to experience its mood and atmosphere.
In contrast, Ellis O’Connor’s energetic abstract oils capture the raw power and rhythm of the natural environment. Immersing herself fully in the landscape - often working outdoors, she allows the elements and extreme weather to influence the process and surface of the work. Her expressive paintings capture fleeting moments within the environment, capturing the movement of sea and land, shifting light, rain and mist, and allowing viewers to engage with the raw energy, and emotions that nature evokes.
Together, this exhibition brings two compelling voices in contemporary landscape painting into conversation, united by a shared fascination with the power, beauty and spirit of the landscape.
