Harry Brioche is a celebrated British artist known for his atmospheric and evocative landscape paintings. Born in the Seychelles in 1965, his early life was shaped by the dramatic island landscapes and tropical light before political upheaval forced his family to relocate to England in 1980. From a young age, Harry was captivated by the beauty of the countryside of Scotland and the rest of the UK, its changing skies, and coastal scenery - an inspiration that continues to inform his work.

 A largely self-taught artist, Harry initially built a successful career in illustration and graphic design, working with international brands such as Dr Martens, Coca-Cola, and BAE Systems. Choosing to follow his creative instincts, he later devoted himself full-time to fine art, translating his lifelong fascination with light, mood, and atmosphere into expressive paintings.

 Harry’s work focuses on capturing the spirit of a place, emphasizing shifting weather, dramatic skies, and the poetry of natural landscapes. He paints in oils and mixed media, building luminous surfaces through layered brushwork that conveys both texture and energy. His compositions are less about literal representation and more about evoking the emotion and atmosphere of the landscape.

 His original paintings are held in private and corporate collections worldwide and are regularly exhibited, including at London’s Mall Galleries through institutions such as the RSMA, ROI, and RBA.
