Morag Muir graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design, Dundee, in 1982 where she studied under eminent Scottish artists such as Alberto Morroco, David McLure and Will MacLean.
An award winning student, Morag was the recipient of the John Milne Purvis Prize, the Scottish Education Department Major Travelling Scholarship and the Scottish Arts Council Bursary for Printmaking.
More recently she received the Small Painting Award (RSW); the Adam Aware; the William and Mary Armour Award and the Art Hire Framing Award (Paisley Art Institute).
