Mike Hunter

My designs are influenced through cane working techniques and producing traditional contemporary glassware styles from 16th and 17th century Venice to 18th century England. I have exhibited in Perth, Stirling, Aberdeen, Shetland Islands, Edinburgh and the Guildhall, London. Commissioned work for Lord and Lady Milburn at Paxton House, Berwick-on-Tweed; reproduction glasses for the Hornblower series on ITV and we designed the trophies for The Scottish Businesswomen's Association Awards in 1998 & 1999. Stockists include Asprey and Garrads, New York and London; Harrods of Knightsbridge; The Room, Chelsea; Wing On, Honk Kong; and Cameo, Paris. In 1999 we were finalists for Scottish Gift of the Year and For Scotland's Most Enterprising New Business.
